How can we help you?

General Help Topics

To achieve the best results for your custom Mahjong set, we recommend using all-over, seamless background patterns . Due to our unique production process involving printing, cutting, polishing, and bonding, minor alignment shifts may occur .

The "Alignment" Challenge:
If your design has strong, distinct borders, even a 0.5mm deviation will look like a "mistake."

Following these guidelines will ensure your tiles look professional and consistent, even with minor industrial tolerances .

✅ Recommended: Seamless Pattern

Seamless patterns mask these industrial tolerances. Even if there is a tiny shift during production, the pattern remains visually perfect and consistent across all 166 tiles.

Choose designs without a fixed center or clear direction . These "forgiving" patterns ensure that slight shifts remain invisible to the eye .

🔸Natural Textures: Marble, jade, water ripples, or cloud textures .

🔸Gradients & Finishes: Soft watercolor bleeds, frosted effects, or pearlescent gradients .

🔸All-over Florals: Evenly distributed small flowers, leaves, or vines .

🔸Repeating Icons: Small, repeating symbols like stars, polka dots, or hearts .

❌ Not Recommended: Centered & Symmetrical Designs

Designs that rely on precise centering or border alignment are likely to appear "tilted" or "off-center" if a minor shift occurs during production .

🔸Centered Logos & Text: Brand marks, initials, names, dates, or slogans .

🔸Distinct Borders: Gold frames, line borders, or decorative corner flowers .

🔸Strong Symmetry: Mandalas, circular badges, rings, or geometric grids like checkerboards .

🔸Portraits: Photos of people, pets, or single large cartoon characters .

💡 Pro Tip: If you must use a Logo or Text, do not place it as a single centered element . Instead, create a repeating pattern of small logos across the entire background .

Pre-Upload Checklist

Before submitting your design, ask yourself these five questions :

🔸No Centered Subject? Does the design avoid a focal point that must be perfectly centered?

🔸No Borders? Is the pattern borderless and naturally extendable?

🔸No Strong Symmetry? Is the layout random or weakly structured rather than perfectly symmetrical?

🔸No Critical Text? Does the design avoid important information that would look bad if slightly tilted?

🔸Full-Bleed Background? Is the image an all-over pattern without a specific direction?

If you answered "No" to any of the above, we highly recommend choosing a different pattern to ensure a high-quality finished product .
